Yes, both negative and positively. For starters, my parents were also strict abt being around “worldly” people (though there is good and evil out there and everyone should be careful) I love the world, and the worldly. I am very antisocial because of the way I was raised, no sleepovers, hardly any friends. Everything was a battle, the piercings, the dreads, school, friends, THEIR issues with each other. everything. fighting. Because Ive never ever believed in god, it was just really easy for me to be straight up about not wanting to go to the hall. which was also a battle. But as far as the positives. I love the fact i wasnt raised as your typical american christian pseudo-godloving bullshit fake ass. Im glad I never felt the pressure of holidays and birthdays and hell. (for those of you who dont know, witnesses dont believe in hell)
In a way being raised in a witness house has made it easy for me to cut the crap abt america. And not feed into the hallmark holidays. I know the origin of everything the christians do, (which is all pagan) so its basically given me a heads up on what i dont want to believe in anyway.
I like the way things turned out. but it took a lot of fighting to get here.
Can I ask you how you knew that abt me though?
Got stopped and searched at the airport today bc my nipple rings ahhahahaja
Bill Murray, will you marry me?
